With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Deacon of Waverly, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Earl and Hilda Ruth Deacon (Amlin); and his granddaughter Hailey Deacon. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Deacon; his son Christopher Deacon; his spouse Christy Branum; his stepson Landon; his sister Donna Rider of Waverly; his aunts, Ruth Deacon, Geneva Deacon, Marlene Naumann and Lorena Steltzman; and also, Brelyn, Josiah (Krystal), Drexel, Gabriel, Josh and Chandler.
