He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvel Evans and Dorothy Faye Chaffin Evans; and his sisters, Connie Jenkins and Roxanne Gourley. He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Evans of Circleville, Rex D. Evans Jr. of Cocoa, Jack L. Evans of Merritt Island and Christopher A. Evans (Naomi) of Temecula, California; his brothers, Orville Evans of Franklin and Ted Evans (Florence) of Sebring, Florida; his grandchildren, Justin, Robby, Matthew, Aaron, Carolyn, Timothy and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Gabby, Sophia, Noah, Isaac, Kennedy, Gabriel, Kizer, Lucas and Addelyn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home (314 E North St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
