He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Schaffner and Sheila Ann Axline Schaffner; his son Zachary Allen Schaffner; his brother Trevor Schaffner; and his mother-in-law Libby Tackett.
He is survived by: his son Michael Schaffner Jr.; his grandsons, Bryce Schaffner and Mason Schaffner; his brother Doug Schaffner (Anita); his daughter-in-law Alicia Legg; and his father-in-law James Tackett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of very special friends.
