He was predeceased by: his parents, Ersel Slone and Helen Walls. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Waldren Massie; his children, Michael Nicholas Massie (Ashley) of Waverly and Natosha Elise Massie (David Jewett) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Cameron and Abigail Jewett; and his siblings, James Massie, Marion Massie (Nancy) and Linda Williams.
