She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Raines and Rose M. Robbins Raines. She is survived by: her husband Edward E. Sams; her children, Tim Sams (Sharon) of Waverly and Christy Simmons (Bill) of Waverly; and her grandchildren, Shaunna Powell (Tom) and Derek.
