He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Chenault and Elsie Mae Chenault (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Michael L. Chenault (Alecia) of Navarre Beach, Jacob Chenault, Logan Allen, Ethan Schmukal, John W. Chenault of Grove City, Brittany Rose (Randy) and Christina L. Chenault of Fort Walton Beach; his brother Arthur W. Chenault of Waverly; and also Lola P. Mathuews (Charles) of Waverly.
