He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Cassady Ratliff; his brother Carl Dee Ratliff; and his nephew Mason D. Adams. He is survived by: his children, Amber Hale of Chillicothe and Shawn David Ratliff of Columbus; his sister Kathy Jenkins of Piketon; his nieces and nephews, Christie Jenkins of Piketon and Amanda Jenkins of Piketon; his sister Pamela Ratliff; his nephew Scott Bryant of Lucasville; his brother Alex Ray (Kim Adams); his nephew Justin Adams of Waverly; his nieces, Jamie Weatherspoon of Cumberland and Michelle Ratliff of Atlanta, Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Paul Jenkins of Beaver and Kenny Bryant of Piketon; and his aunts, Wanda Cassady of Springfield and Fannie Kreis of Chillicothe.
