He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Winfield Harbert and Cecil Harbert; his wife Linda (Mathews); his sons, Roger Harbert (Missy) of Batavia and Darren Harbert (Amy) of Kettering; his granddaughter Kelsey Harbert of Cincinnati; and his brother Bill Harbert of Westerville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Waverly and American Legion Post 142 Honor Guard.
