With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Burroughs of Waverly, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Burroughs to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest W. Burroughs and Rebecca R. Burroughs (Rogers); his daughter Brenda Sue Garden; and his sister Jeannine White. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Burroughs; his daughter Carol Zizzi (Samuel); his grandchildren, Elias Garden and Darby Shaub; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Widmer, Adelina Zizzi and Samantha Zizzi; and his siblings, James "Bud" Burroughs and Martha "Marty" Brannan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Waverly United Methodist Church (872 Virginia St, Waverly, WV 26184).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's honor can be made to Waverly UMC, 872 Virginia St, Waverly, WV 26184.
