He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Evans and Ida Conley Evans; his spouse Patricia Lou Evans; his sons, Gerald Evans, Jr. and Jeffrey Strawser; and his siblings, Bobby Evans, Charles Evans and Georgia Picklesimer.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Kellenberger, Greg Evans, Patrick Evans of Portsmouth and Harry Strawser of Beaver, Ohio; and his sisters, Betty Davis and Eunice Easter.
