He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter E. Hardman and Frances Hardman (Haddox); his son Dexter W. Hardman; and his nieces and nephews, Shawn and Brandy Hardman.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Talbott Hardman; his son James "J. R."; his brother Danny Hardman (Doris) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Joshua (Alyssa), Brittany, Tanner, Raighan, Austin, Dante and Hunter; and his cousin Linda Canfield of Marietta.
