He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hornback and Margaret Dewitz Hornback; his wife Anna Maude Thomas Hornback; his brothers, Jesse Raymond Hornback and James Hornback, Jr.; his son Paul Hornback; his sons-in-law, Robert Potvin and Woody Schaeffer; and his brother-in-law Cecil Tingley.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Hornback (Paula) of Dexter, James Hornback (Lisa) of Columbus, Ohio, Peggy Schaeffer of Waverly and Marilyn Hornback of Waverly; his daughter-in-law Jo Hornback of Waverly; his sisters, Donna Sue Tingley of Moses Lake and Kay McCulley (Larry) of Harrison, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Michael Lesh (Lisa), Tammy Lesh, Aimee Smith (Matt), Beth Hornback, Dan Hornback (Sarah), Andrea Leeth (Josh), Sara Andrews (Josh), Natalie Hornback and Robert Potvin, Jr. (Camille). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
