He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Johnson Hicks; his children, Daniel Berton Hicks (Monica) of Waverly, Della Hicks of Waverly, Kell Hicks of Cincinnati and Lisa Filutz of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Denver Eugene Hicks II of Harrisville and Cynthia Hicks of Brocton; and his sister Rose Jenkins of Waverly. He is also survived by friends, and neighbors.
