He was predeceased by: his father Ruben Hatfield; and his siblings, Bob, Eddie, Walter, Carl, Melvin and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Tackett (Arlie) of Peebles, Angie Lemaster (Nick) of Waverly, Simon Hatfield of South Salem, Sam Hatfield of Bainbridge and Dan Hatfield of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Veronica, Nicholas, Brett, Hannah, Amanda and Cheyenne; and his sister Tiny Hatfield of Greenfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
