She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Furst Jr. and Esther Caroline McCormick Furst; and her brother James McCormick O'Brien (Kathryn). She is survived by: her husband Elton Frederick Carlson of Turtlepoint; her children, Eric Dale Carlson (Alice Lourdes Tacandong), Margaret Carlson Nikoleit (Joel Richard Nikoleit) of Chicago, Illinois and Dwight Leonard Carlson (Vicky Huang Carlson); her granddaughters, Jade and Katie of Jacksonville; and her siblings, Margaretta Furst Stewart (Joseph), Sidney Dale Furst III and Dorothy O'Brien Schopfer (Stephen). She is also survived by siblings and her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
