It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Smith of Waverly, Ohio, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Descheemaeker, Sr. and Cora Belle Yost; her brothers, John and David Descheemaeker; and her uncle Burnell Geiman.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick Smith; her sons, Clinton Descheemaeker (Heather), David Smith (Emily) and Anthony Cragar; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Cragar and Caleb Descheemaeker; her brother Robert Descheemaeker, Jr. (Denise); her aunts, Dawn Geiman and Anna Pearl Kemp; her siblings-in-law, Donna Descheemaeker, Suzanne Smith, Christina (Tim Lacy) and Danny Smith (Stephanie); and her close friends, Steve Hopkins (Susie), Carrie Edmunds (Robert) and Carol Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
