She was predeceased by: her parents, Given Pollard and Laura Lightle Pollard; her husband Robert Lee Scowden; her sister Julia McGowan; and her sister-in-law Joyce Leeth.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lois Pollard of Washington and Edith Dewey of Waverly; her sister-in-law Carolyn Remy (Gene) of Waverly; and her nephew Donald Dewey of Piketon. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home (314 E North St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Mound Cemetery.
