He was predeceased by: his parents, John Methena (Carol) and Dorothy Methena (Large); his wife Phyllis; his daughter Penny; and his siblings, Ben Methena, Terry Methena, Johnny Methena, Judy Methena and Jim Methena.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Whittecar (Jeffrey) and Jeremy Methena (Jodi); his grandchildren, Shannon Luna (Ralph), Cheyenne Methena, Kingsley Methena, Savannah Swartz, Brooklyn Swartz, Penny Sue Luna, Nathan Luna and Adisyn Luna; and his siblings, Diane Chasteen, Beth Curavo (Bob), Kathy Chasteen, Mike Methena and Jim Sharp (Melanie).
