He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Drewes and Laura Drewes (Meyer); his son Russell; his grandson Joel Ward; and his brothers, Delbert and Ronald Drewes.
He is survived by: his spouse Paulajean Drewes (Warncke); his great grandchild Marcus; his children, Janice Moran (John) and Scott Drewes (Tracie); his grandchildren, Michael Ward (Julie), Crystal Ward (Jim Sandifer), Amber Hovis (Josh), Kelsie Drewes, Alexis Drewes, Megan Workman and Lori Waidelich; his brother Kenneth Drewes (Cynthia); and his sister-in-law Sharon Drewes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
