It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheryl J Leininger of Wauseon, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheryl J Leininger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Foote and Virginia Foote (Lapoint); her husband Roger Leininger; and her sister Robin Chapa. She is survived by: her children, Terry Leininger of Toledo, Trevor Leininger (Jennifer) of Wauseon and Tammy White (William) of Wauseon; her stepsons, Roger Leininger (Katie) of Toledo and Bill Leininger (Belinda) of Delta; and her siblings, Ron Foote of Rodsworth, Dennis Foote (Kim) of Swanton, Karen Gunther (Emil) of Delta and Marsha Helminiak (Stan) of Delta. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home (219 S Fulton St, Wauseon, OH 43567). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Shiloh Christian Union Church.
