He was predeceased by: his parents, Rick Sexton (Kelly) and Leota Pedraza (Schroeder); his stepfather Arturo "Art" Pedraza; his grandparents, Norma Schroeder, Donna Schroeder, Esther Pedraza, Jim, Catherine Hiser, Jack and Faye Sexton; his uncles, Dennis Schroeder and Donald Leverence; and his cousins, Matthew Schroeder and Jeff Celian.

He is survived by: his children, Canon Ryan Sexton, Landon Lee Sexton, Allyson Norma Marie Sexton, Zoey Elizabeth Sexton and Aryah Franziska Sexton; his fiancé Jessi Armstrong; and his siblings, Melony Pedraza (Mickey Vasquez), Roseanne Pedraza, Amber Geahlen (Josh), Heather Mistor (Nick), Joseph Pedraza (Chalsay Maes), Amanda Gillespie, Nicole Gillespie, Ricky Sexton (Lauren), Nathan Ekstrand and Jerica Fisher (Tom). He is also survived by friends who he loved as sisters and brothers, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
