She was predeceased by: her parents, Reymundo Zavala and Demetria Zavala; her husband Benjamin De La Cruz, Sr.; her siblings, Louis, Eliasar Sr., Nathan Sr., Margarita, Amelia Arredondo and Raquel Rivera; and her son-in-law Tony Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her siblings, Efrain Zavala Sr., David and Neomi Santiago; and her children, Ruth Zaghloul (David) of Iowa City, Iowa, Dianne, Jeanne of Wauseon, Ohio, Benjamin Jr (Elsa) of San Antonio, Texas, Melody Rodriguez of Pettisville, Ohio, Rebecca Sanchez (Mark) and Jacqueline (William) of Wauseon, Ohio. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and her countless nieces, nephews and spiritual sons and daughters.
