She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eyre Shaw and Ruth Ripley Smith Shaw; her siblings, John Eyre Shaw III, Julie McCollough Chance, Jane Eyre Collins and Virginia Sherwood; and her son William Gardner Crowell.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Crowell (Connie) and Caroline Wyman (Rodney); her grandchildren, Chelsea Jeffers (Isaac), Ben Crowell, Andrew Wyman and Mackenzie Wyman; and her great grandchildren, Malachi and Leilani Jeffers.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Ruth to Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home or to the Bristol Emergency Food Pantry.
