He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mansfield and Marlene Mansfield (Sower); and his brother James Mansfield. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" (Short); his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Ellen; his grandsons, Elijah, Gavin and Carter; his siblings, William Mansfield (Connie), Richard Mansfield (Angela) of Toledo, Michael Mansfield (Shelley) of Napoleon, Mary Mansfield and Alice Keller (Jon) of Bryan; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Short (Mary), Denver Short (Katherine), Stanwyn Short (Suzanne) of Archbold, Leonard Short (Jennifer) of Cincinnati, Joanne Ocasio of Lancaster, PA, Lavonne Short (Darrell) of Goshen, IN and Janet Knierim (Kevin) of Wauseon.
The family suggests that memorials be given to West Clinton Mennonite Church or CHP Inpatient Hospice.
