He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Belford and Edna May Belford (Ost) of Napoleon; his wife Frances Belford; his sons, Michael, Robert Jr., Jerry and Larry Belford; his sister Ellen Girlie; and his niece Blanche Willis.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Badenhop (Darwin), Albert Belford, Gene Belford (Tina Petersen), Brenda Hernandez (Gregorio) and Mark Belford. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
