He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sickle and Mary Gladys Van Sickle (Altvater); his wife Elaine Louise (Annis); and his son Matthew Van Sickle. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Grossman (Tim) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Paul Scott Van Sickle (Michelle) of Sunnyvale, CA, Stephen Van Sickle (Teresa) of Archbold and Peter Annis of Racine, WI; and his grandchildren, Alisabeth Yurtman (Dallas), Kaleela Grossman (Will Avila), Lynessa Grossman, Sean Van Sickle and Emily Van Sickle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Sauder Village or the Archbold American Legion Post #311.
