With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy R. Barnes of Wauseon, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nancy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nancy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie (Dewey) and Bill Dewey (Marie); and her nephew Will Figy. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Barnes; her pet Blackjack; her sisters, Denise Galbraith (Dean) and Chrislyn (Michael Shelhart); and her stepsons, Eric Barnes (Jenni) and Brian Barnes (Emily).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Christian Church (507 N Fulton St, Wauseon, OH 43567). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions for Nancy be made to the Fulton County Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
