He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Melton (Moss); his siblings, Patrick, Mike, Frank, Gina and Jayne; and his stepmother Virginia "Ginny" Lee Melton.
He is survived by: his children, James Melton (Carrie), Jonni Melton (Betty) and Joey Shadbolt (Brent); his grandchildren, Jamie, Tyler, Katelyn, Karley, Kallie, Caleb, Connor and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Keenan, Xavier and Riley; his siblings, June Stubbs, Virginia Anne Kilburn, Ann Hall and Russ Melton (Angela); and his siblings-in-law, Jane Moss and Walter Moss. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contribution in J.B. honor ay be gifted to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Parkinson's Foundation.
