It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Helen Bates (Wauseon, Ohio), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hassell and Lassie Reynolds (Charles); her husband Robert L. Bates; her siblings, Louella Fields, Larry and Jerry Reynolds; and her stepdaughter Patricia Parrott.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Williams of Carson, California and Melissa Eskins (Bradley) of Germantown, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Haley, Hayden Eskins, Steven Hoeft and Casey Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Taylor and Allison Schmidt; her brothers, Don Reynolds, Charles Reynolds and Greg Reynolds; her nieces, Vicki and Lori; her nephew Matthew; her great-nephews, Mason, Ethan Loeffler and Marcos Molina; and her great-niece Sara Fields.
The family requests that memorial contributions may be given to CHP-Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.
