He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Matheny and Sandy Matheny (Spiess); his brothers, Scott G. Matheny (Melissa) of Huron, OH and Chris A. Matheny (Gretchen) of Plain City, OH; his uncle Brad Spiess (Betty); his aunt Mary Arruda (Paul); and his grandparents, Nelson, Frances Spiess, Dorsey and Margaret Matheny. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Compassionate Care Sanctuary, P.O. Box 53, Delta, Ohio 43515.
