With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Joan Vollmer of Wauseon, Ohio, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Joan Vollmer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Domeck; her parents-in-law, Jean and Orra Vollmer; and her grandson Michael Clifford "Peanut" Vollmer. She is survived by: her father Gordon Domeck of Wauseon; her husband Doug; her sisters, Joyce Oyer (Doug) of Wauseon and Lenore Peterson (Craig) of Sylvania; her children, Jennifer Clarke (Sean) of Oscoda, Dan Vollmer (Nancy) of Holgate and Geoffrey Vollmer (Jackie) of Centerville; and her grandchildren, Alex, Emma, Carson, Eleanor and Owen.

The family requests those attending the visitation and the service to please wear a mask and follow CDC guidelines when possible.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wauseon Police Department for the benefit of Safety City, or to First Christian Church in Wauseon for the benefit of the Handbell Choir fund.
