With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josefina G. Perez of Wauseon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Perez and Felicita Perez (Garcia); her siblings, Eva Canales (Abraham) and Joe Angel Perez; her grandson Ethan James Mumford; her nephew Victor Perez Juanito Suarez; and her nieces, Ninfa Perez, Rachel Perez, Irene Suarez and Erica Delgado.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Noe Villarreal; her children, Elizabeth Shannon (Martin), Leo Suarez, Hope Suarez and Joe Suarez; her grandchildren, Justice Vasquez (Brandon), Malik Goins, Jasmine Shannon, Tyrese Goins, Jadelin Shannon, Martin Shannon Jr., Mitchell Shannon, Mateo Black and Brantlee Willoughby; her stepgrandchildren, Sierra Reynolds and Staci Whetro; her siblings, Adam Perez (Romalee), Pablo Perez (Carlota), Ernie Perez, Jane Martin (Gary) and David Perez; and her close friends, Olga Ferrell, Mary Wisecup and Michelle Dine. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lockport Mennonite Church (9269 Co Rd 21N, Stryker, OH 43557). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (104 Chase St, Stryker, OH 43557).
