She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baden and Irene Baden (Bostelman); her husband Vernon Gerken; and her son Jeffrey. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Yackee (Bernard) of Wauseon, Lynette Smith (Kirby) of Wauseon and Linda Comadoll (Jeff) of Napoleon; her siblings, Phyllis Meyer (David) of Napoleon and Marvin Baden (Patty) of Fruitland Park, Florida; her grandchildren, Carrie Van Sickle, Kaci Weirauch (David), Kayla Simon (Eric), John Smith, Kelsi Wyper, Jeffrey Smith, Chandra Howard (Randy) and Ryan Nagel; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Kowen, Samuel, Kane, Kaleb, Joanna, Braden, Avery, Logan, Kyle, Kailie and Alivia.
The family suggest memorial contributions to St. Luke Lutheran Church or Fulton Manor Nursing Home.
