He was predeceased by: his parents, John Batdorf and Velma Batdorf (Irwin); his stepfather Dale McVetta; and his brother Richard Batdorf. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Batdorf (Kendra) of Wauseon and James Batdorf, Jr. (Crystalina) of Wauseon; his grandchildren, Justin, Logyn, Jency, Delaney, Liam and Bowen; his close friend Jeanette Smelka; his friend Sally Sgro (Michael); and his pet Pepper.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, all services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Fulton County Board of DD or the Senior Center in Jim's honor.
