He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Tappan and Nancy Lee Tappan (Crosby). He is survived by: his children, Justin Tappan of Swanton and Kristin Sheller of Wauseon; his grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, Morgan and Makenzie Sheller; and his siblings, Michael Tappan (Kathy) of Dayton and Barbara Frankforther (Greg) of Sylvania.
