He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ross Strayer, Geneva Murray (Carl), Lola Young (Burl) and Frances Seiler (Emerson). He is survived by: his parents, Arba Strayer and Gladys Strayer (Bittikofer); his spouse Dorothy L. Carroll; and his children, Leslye Jo Bruner (Dan) of Wauseon, Marcy R. Reed (Larry) of Wauseon, Kassie K. France (Ron) of London, Ohio and Sharm W. Strayer of Maineville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Shriner's Hospitals, Christ United Methodist Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
