He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Windisch and Orpha Windisch (Mock); his daughter Laura Mae Windisch; his siblings, Joan Borton and Jerry Windisch; and his parents-in-law, Rudolph and Leota Warncke.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Warncke; his sons, George "Norm" Windisch (Cindy) and Sean Windisch; and his grandchildren, Shannon Windisch, Kenneth Windisch, Jennifer Haas (Paul), Stacie Luna, Amber Bergstedt (Casey), Gregory Windisch (Christi) and Heather Hubbell (Josh).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
