It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene R. W. Smith (Wauseon, Ohio), who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene R. W. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Wauneta Smith (Wyse); his son Lee Smith; and his sister Sandra Rychener. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith (Stevens); his children, Kim Ford, Jeff, Tim and Dawn Smith (Johnson); his grandchildren, Kylie Kreuz (Will), Kinsey Smith, Brandee Ford, Willie, Korey Ford and Kaycee Ford; his great grandchildren, William, Elijah, Maximus Kreuz, Oliver and Theo Fay; his brothers, William Smith, Arda and Larry Smith (Jill); and his brother-in-law Joe Rychener. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made directly to the Red Cross or donate to the Red Cross through blood donation in Gene's memory.
