It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ester Cortez of Wauseon, Ohio, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Cortez and Manuela Cortez (Martinez); and her siblings, Albert Cortez, Janie Ybarra, Estela Rodriguez, Hope Olalde and Eloise Garza.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ernestine Cortez of Wauseon, Ellen Chapa of Archbold and Linda Rodriguez (Raul) of Corpus Christi, TX.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Caballada Mission or to the Templo Christiano Church in Archbold.
