She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett W. Ritter and Coral B. Cusac; her husband William E. Hartman; her brothers, Earl E. Ritter and Marvin F. Ritter; and her grandson Tristian William Lewis.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas R. Schultz; her children, Thomas E. Schultz (Linda), Julie A. Schultz (Kent) and Paul A. Schultz (Midge); her grandchildren, Jeffrey T. Lewis (Angie), Ashley A. Oyer (Josh), Melissa E. Smith (Chad) and Samantha E. Nevel (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Jean Ann Ritter. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Pettisville Missionary Church.
