He was predeceased by: his father Veryl Gearig; and his sister Janet Gunn. He is survived by: his wife Ardyth Warncke; his children, Kevin Gearig (Monica) of Findlay, Megan Hinesman (Eric) of Perrysburg and Mark Gearig (Jennifer) of Decatur, IL; his grandchildren, Morgyn, Lauryn, Madelyn, Kamryn, Austin, Elyssa, Ezra and Noah; and his siblings, Jim Gearig (Darla), Sandie Valuck, Richard Gearig, Bill Gearig, Pat Gearig and Linda Brown (Mike).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Luke Lutheran Church in memory of Donald.
