With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Hlavac (Wauseon, Ohio), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Panek and Marie Panek (Wieszorek); her husband Erwin F. Hlavac, Sr.; her son-in-law William Reynolds; and her siblings, Lorraine Licastro, Laverne Kalfas, Richard Panek and Virginia Grula.
She is survived by: her children, AnnMarie Reynolds (Jennings) and John J. Jennings (Kim); her grandchildren, Ashley N. Jennings, Jessica L. Jennings and MiKayla R. Jennings; her nieces and nephews, Donna Ray Gasiorowski, Pamela Surhay, Linda Grgula, Patricia Ann Swiegert, Michael Kalfas, Paul R. Kalfas and Joseph Grgula; her son Andrew; her granddaughter Melissa; her stepchildren, April Satkowski and Thomas Clay (Cynthia); and her stepgrandchildren, Cassandra, Kaylei, Kara, Ciara, Alexandra, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Julie and Jason.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be private in St. Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, concrete statuary, blankets and other mementos, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
