He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Neil and Zylpha McIntosh (Spring); and his siblings, Bruce, Robert, Charles, Florence Howard and Doris Kurfiss.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Bill Kurfiss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
