He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Smith and Martha Smith; and his brother Donald Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Smith (Fauver); his children, Charles "Chris" Smith (Marsha) and Cindi Dickman (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashley McColley (Patrick), Cassandra Smith and Abigail Byington; his great grandchildren, Mason, Annalise, Kyrie, Adelynn and Kanello; his brothers, Jack Smith and Richard Smith (Louise); and his sister-in-law Kay Youngmeyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
