He was predeceased by: his father Dimmer Shepherd; and his brother Michael David Shepherd. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Shepherd; his children, Denise Shepherd, Charles Shepherd Jr. and Barbara Shepherd; and his sisters, Linda Steele (Ted), Brenda Vindas (Walter) and Lucille Lange (Fred). He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandson.
