She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Saunders and Thelma Saunders (Forest); her sister Diane Schroeder; and her brother-in-law Jim Schroeder. She is survived by: her husband Jarol "Jerry" Yackee; her children, Brenda Babcock (Dean) of Weston, OH, Lynne Boyers (Greg) of Wauseon, Jeanne Roe of Wauseon and Doug Yackee (Robin) of Wauseon; her brother Edwin Saunders (Rosalie) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Tristan Babcock, Calyn Babcock, Adam Boyers (Kristin), Alyssa Gifford (Tim), Amye Keeling (Frank), Ashlyn Boyers, Jenelle Stevens (Eric), Chris Yackee and Beth Yackee; and her great grandchildren, Alyce, Sam Boyers, Adelynn, Eli, Micah Gifford, Abram, Emerson Stevens and Frankie Keeling.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic a private graveside service honoring Carolyn's life will be held at Wauseon Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Wauseon in her memory.
