He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Pedraza (Garza) of Pharr, Texas.; his sisters, Bella Zuniga and Elvia Cano; his grandson Xavier Pedraza; his nephews, David, Israel Martinez, Jeff Ceilin and Matt Schroder; his niece Paige Pedraza; his parents-in-law, John, Donna Schroeder and Norma Schroder; his brother-in-law Dennis Schroder; and his pet Peaches.

He is survived by: his father Simon T. Pedraza; his wife Leota Schroeder; his children, Melony Pedraza (Mickey Vasquez), Roseanne Pedraza (John Johnson), Amber Geahlen (Josh), Ryan Sexton (Jesse Armstrong), Heather Mistor (Nick) and Joseph Pedraza (Chalsey Maes); his grandchildren, Forest, Jacob, Anthony, Isaiah, Zane, Canon, Leah, Elaynah, Austin, Landon, Allison, Matthew, Audrey, Zoey, Gabriel, Roman, Aaliyah, Khaleesia, Giavanna and Aryah; his great grandchild Myles; and his siblings, Norma Tellez (Steve Popma), Letty Moon (Bob), Sylvia Damko (Chris), Amelia Avina (Frank), Simon Pedraza (Emma), David Pedraza, Marco Pedraza (Sonia), Ramiro Fonseca (Jan), Raul Fonseca (Mary) and Rosalva Pedraza. He is also survived by friends who he loved as his own daughters and was a second dad to his nieces and nephews.
