He is survived by: his parents, Michael Slattman (Char) of Wauseon and Jennifer Bowen (John) of Wauseon; his daughter Ivy; his siblings, Cameron Slattman (BrieAnna) of Wauseon and Lela Slattman (Nick) of Cincinnati; his stepsiblings, Taylor Brinck (John) of Ayersville, Olivia Hendra (Jeremiah) of Columbus and Trevor Bowen of Michigan; his grandmother Judy Slattman; his stepgrandmother Linda Zachrich; his grandfather Gary John; and his stepgrandparents, Clinton and Mary Bowen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given to the family for the care of Alexander's daughter, Ivy.
