Richard James LaJeunesse Obituary
Richard La Jeunesse, 82, of Waterville, Ohio passed away July 31, 2022. He was born December 4, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Wilfrid and Ruth (Seger) La Jeunesse.
Richard worked as an electrician for the Consolidated Rail Corporation - Conrail - and later Hinkle Manufacturing, among others. He had a passion for trains, planes, and boats, both full-size and model. He enjoyed spending time building and flying radio controlled airplanes, collecting model trains, and building RC boats. He was a charter member of the Weak Signals Radio Control Club, a member of the Jolly Roger Sailing Club in Toledo, and involved with the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
He is survived by his daughter Nicole La Jeunesse of Denver, Colorado; sister Rita Jacob of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and brothers John LaJeunesse (Linda) of Alexandria, Virginia and Robert La Jeunesse (Diana) of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother-in-law Abel Jacob of Springfield, Missouri , and best friend Vance Harrison of Toledo, Ohio .
Services for Richard will be private for the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green, Ohio.
