He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Johnston and Audrey Johnston (Ritz); his wife Dorothy (Schwind); his daughter Sandy Kubacki (Mark); his brother Bob; his daughter-in-law Belinda; and his close friend Ebony.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Rivas, Kristina Johnston, Todd Johnston and Eric Johnston; and his grandchildren, Mitch (Melissa), Matt (Sarah), Mike (Alicia), Lily, Brooke, Summer and Eric. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
